Details zum neuen Cradle-Of-Filth-Album

Die ersten Details zum neuen, bereits 12. Studio-Album von Cradle Of Filth sind veröffentlicht: Das Werk wird „Cryptoriana – The Seductiveness Of Decay“ heißen und am 22. September 2017 erscheinen.

Das Artwork wurde von Artūrs Bērziņš entworfen. Das Album selbst ist laut Frontmann und Sänger Dani Filth vollkommen vom viktorianischen Gothic-Horror durchzogen – der Titel reflektiere dies. „’Cryptoriana’ implies the Victorian’s infatuation with the supernatural, the grave and the ghoulish”, erklärt Filth. „And the subtitle ‘The Seductiveness Of Decay’ further cements this attraction to death and the glittering lengthy process of self-annihilation.”

Die erste Single-Auskopplung wird es am 5. Juli 2017 geben. Ab dann ist das neue Werk der Briten auch vorbestellbar. Außerdem haben die Metaller Cradle Of Filth eine frische Tour angekündigt. Im Herbst spielen sie einige Shows in UK und Irland. Weitere weltweite Konzerte sollen laut Dani Filth im nächsten Jahr folgen: „We aim to be very prolific on the live front, delivering a show worthy of our fan’s exalted expectations and more.”
